The University of Maryland
The University of Maryland project was completed in collaboration with Noland Mechanical in Salisbury, Maryland. MKT provided stainless steel exhaust duct for UMD’s biology lab. MKT’s specialty fabrication team fabricated this exhaust duct to handle the exhaust of harsh chemicals and fumes used in dissections and other experiments at the lab.
Other products offered by MKT’s Specialty Fabrication division includes dust collection, odor control, material collection, and a variety of exhaust systems. MKT utilizes a variety of materials including galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, specialty coated, and carbon steel.
